Psalm 150: Praise Him with tambourines and dancing, praise him with loud clashing cymbals........let everything that has breath praise the Lord!Cheesed off!

"Christ Has Eternal Everlasting Salvation Every Day; Offering Forgivess Forever!"

A couple of people from my church thought it would be an idea to form a band with the youth of the area. So we have! We meet every other Tuesday, and will soon be holding a

Celebration, worshipy type evenin to which all are welcome, Christians and non-Christians. I will let you know when this is.

It goes without saying that this event will be free! The website for "Cheesed off" is:

www.cheesedoff.faithweb.com

A bit of info is on this page though. Members of the band are:

Mark Tiddy Loud, fantastic drumming, with lots of "resounding cymbals" (see Psalm 150 at top of page!)
Ben Foster Electric guitar; doesn't even need music for most of the songs!
Matt Dyble Vocals and mouthorgans.........they do actually go!
Katie Lyle Vocals and a bit of dancing
Me! (David S) Vocals and quite a bit of dancing (according to mark!
Hayley Nicolson Fluter jigs right foot in time to music and blows air and who knows what else down the flute

We also have Brian, our cool "manager" type person, whos great on bass, and another two members of our church who kindly play the keyboard and guitar really well!

At the moment "our" song is definitely "Days of Elijah", which celebrates the coming of the Lord Jesus, and the need we as Christians have of preaching the Gospel until that "Great and terrible day of the Lord." Keep your eyes open for posters of this band.
